BC Comics logo sketches

Here's a bunch of Logo sketches for a computer graphics class I gotta do. It involves creating your own Logo, So I decided to do my old BC Comics logo

When I was the littlest Brian Junior, I was making comic books. Folding papers in half, aligning them and stapling them after drawing panels within. They were kinda crude but that was my hobbye ehehe..

I'd always put BC comics logo at the back, which was inspired by the treehouse comix logo that George and Harold from Captain Underpants would put behind their own comics. I used DC as a basis.

BC stands for Brian Comics. So saying BC Comics would be like saying brian comics comics lol. That's kinda dumb. Though i am thinking of changing it to cartoons so that it can be applied to animations.

So I redrew a few concepts, even redrawing official marvel and DC logos as references. But none of them really did it for me..

UNTIL I saw this classic pic of Konata izumi, the Otaku Goddess, waiting for her instant noodles to be ready i1.ytimg.com/vi/z9imTp0i42A/hq…

That gave me the idea of drawing myself in chibi form, doing the same pose atop the BC letters. Man I thought it was a brilliant and beautiful idea/concept, that was totally ME.

So near the bottom I redrew it again a few times, refining it, doing some variations and whatnot, before I digitize them at school.
