This is God of War fanart inspired by this God of war Ascension commercial [link] .
When I was watching this commercial I thought the choice of song was kinda stupid, but then the commercial got all sad. The song suddenly fit alot better lol. But seriously I thought this commercial was pretty sad. It really made me feel for the god-slayer.. So I decided to draw the one bit where he happily holds up his daughter Calliope before she disintegrated into ashes and it got all sad..
For a live-action commercial it looked REALLY good. If they made a God of war movie like this I'd watch it. And as for the new game Ascension itself, Im definitely gonna get it, I'm a GoW fanboy after all.
Anyways I hope you like it, please comment.

Kratos: I know.
Freya: You know? You think you can even begin to understand the pain of losing a child?
Kratos: Yes- I do.
Freya: There was another. Before Atreus?
Kratos: Her name was Calliope.
